Alyn Waters Country Park is a scenic nature spot with woodlands, meadows, and riverside trails along the River Alyn. The 5k event starts with around 2km on grass, before heading off into the woodland on gravel paths. It is a mainly flat course, but there are one or two very small sharp climbs in the woods.
