Race for Life Kingston and Kempton Park 5K is organised by Cancer Research UK and takes place at Kempton Park Racecourse in Sunbury on Thames. The event is part of the nationwide Race for Life series, bringing people together to raise funds for life saving cancer research while completing a 5K challenge at their own pace.
The predominantly flat course follows tarmac roads around the racecourse, with the start and finish on a mixture of grass and hardstanding. Short sections cross the racetrack itself, creating slightly uneven ground in places, but the route remains straightforward and accessible for a wide range of participants.
The event is fully supported with marshals, chip timing, refreshments, toilets and free parking. It is suitable for pushchairs and offers wheelchair access with assistance, alongside inclusive facilities including Dementia Friend trained event staff and British Sign Language support. A friendly atmosphere and shared fundraising purpose make this a memorable Race for Life event.
