Race for Life Dudley 5K takes place at Himley Hall in the historic parkland of Himley Park. Organised by Cancer Research UK, the event brings together participants of all abilities to raise funds for life saving cancer research in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
The 5K course follows a mixture of grass and park paths through the estate, passing Himley Hall and the picturesque lake before returning to the finish. The predominantly flat route includes one gentle incline, providing an enjoyable mixed terrain running experience in attractive surroundings.
The event is chip timed and welcomes participants to walk, jog or run at their own pace. Refreshments, toilets and parking are available on site, creating an accessible community event that combines fundraising with the opportunity to enjoy one of the West Midlands' most attractive historic parks.
