The Priory 10K is organised by Ackworth Road Runners and takes place at Nostell Priory and Parkland near Wakefield. Held within the grounds of the National Trust estate, the event offers a distinctive opportunity to race through one of West Yorkshire’s best known historic parklands.
The 10K course is an undulating two lap route that passes through landscaped gardens, lakeside paths and meadowland. Runners encounter a mix of tarmac, well surfaced paths and grass tracks, with the start and finish located in front of Nostell Priory, creating an excellent setting for both participants and spectators.
The event is chip timed and features experienced race organisation, water stations, distance markers, baggage storage and finisher mementos. Race HQ is based at the Stable Block, where refreshments are available, helping to create a friendly and well supported race atmosphere.
