The Prague Half Marathon is one of Europe's best known road races, taking runners through the heart of the Czech capital. The route follows the Vltava River and passes many of Prague's most recognisable landmarks, combining historic architecture, riverside running and city centre streets across the Half Marathon distance.
The event attracts runners from around the world and has earned an international reputation for its high standard of competition and scenic urban course. The race forms part of the SuperHalfs series, a collection of leading European Half Marathons that includes events in Berlin, Cardiff, Copenhagen, Lisbon and Valencia.
Landmarks along the route include the Rudolfinum, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, the National Theatre and Vyšehrad Castle. The combination of riverside scenery, historic districts, bridges and iconic city views makes the Prague Half Marathon one of the most distinctive destination races in Europe.
