Post Hill Challenge is a challenging 5.6K off-road race held at Post Hill in Pudsey, West Yorkshire. Licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules, the event attracts runners looking for a short but demanding test of climbing ability, balance and endurance.
The course follows the trail paths around Post Hill, incorporating two ascents of the famous motorcycle hill climb. Steep gradients, muddy sections and slippery ground make the route particularly challenging, with fell shoes or aggressive trail shoes recommended. The combination of woodland paths and demanding climbs provides a distinctive racing experience despite the relatively short distance.
Race headquarters are based at Troydale Social Club, approximately 15 minutes' walk from the start and finish arena. The event traditionally takes place on Remembrance Sunday, with a minute's silence observed before the start. Results and presentations are held back at race headquarters following the race.
