The Pollok Park 5K and 10K are organised by Up and Running Events and take place in Pollok Country Park, Glasgow's largest park. Offering a choice of two distances, the event welcomes runners of all abilities to enjoy professionally organised racing in one of Scotland's most attractive urban green spaces.
The courses follow a mixture of smooth park paths and woodland trails through Pollok Country Park, passing open parkland, mature woodland and scenic riverside sections. The 5K consists of a single lap, while the 10K completes two laps of the accurately measured course, creating a fast and accessible running experience in peaceful surroundings.
The event features chip timing, bespoke finisher's medals, goody bags, hydration stations, kilometre markers and a fully marshalled course. Combining scenic parkland, welcoming organisation and a choice of two distances, the Pollok Park 5K and 10K have become popular fixtures in the Glasgow running calendar.
