The Picardy 5K is a community mixed terrain race based at Recreation Park in Insch, following a scenic route through the village and the surrounding Aberdeenshire countryside. Organised by Jog Scotland Insch and Bennachie Leisure Centre, the event is open to runners aged 12 and over and welcomes participants of all abilities.
The race features chip timing, a Scottish Athletics event licence, secure bag drop, changing facilities, showers, refreshments and a specially designed finisher medal. Held in support of the Bennachie Leisure Centre Charity, the event brings together runners and the local community for a day of fundraising and celebration.
The Picardy 5K offers a friendly and professionally organised race that combines scenic surroundings, community spirit and an enjoyable challenge in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire.
