PHOENIX Track Wars Project X is a timed track running event at Xcel Sports Hub in Walton on Thames, with 6, 12 and 24 hour options. Participants complete as many or as few 400m laps as they choose within their selected time period, allowing each runner to set their own distance goal.
Runners can target established distances including 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon, or continue beyond marathon distance to complete an Ultra. The flexible format also allows endurance runners to build much higher totals during the longer events, with electronic chip timing recording every lap and providing live progress updates.
The athletics track provides a controlled setting for a wide range of running goals, from shorter distances through to extended endurance challenges. Participants do not need to decide their final distance in advance and can continue accumulating laps for as long as they choose within their 6, 12 or 24 hour limit.
