Manchester's Bee's Knees Run is a Phoenix Running event based at Hardy Farm, near Chorlton Water Park. The event follows a scenic route alongside the River Mersey, welcoming runners and walkers of all abilities to a flexible distance challenge with a seven hour time limit.
The flat trail course follows a 3.28 mile route along the riverside towpath. Runners can complete a single lap or continue towards longer distances, including 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra distances. With minimal elevation change and a well stocked aid station at Race HQ, the event caters for both shorter runs and longer endurance challenges.
Every finisher receives a bespoke Phoenix Running medal and a handmade knitted bee, giving the event its distinctive character. A contribution from each entry supports Ray's of Sunshine Children's Charity, bringing a charitable element to this bee themed running event in Manchester.
