Manchester Phoenix Afterglow is the third and final race in the Phoenix Running Summer Series. Starting from Hardy Farm, the event follows a flat 5.3 kilometre out and back trail along the River Mersey through Chorlton Water Park, allowing runners to complete as many laps as they choose within the seven hour time limit.
Participants can finish after a single lap or continue to achieve 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon or Ultra distances. The event features chip timing, a well stocked vegetarian aid station with vegan and gluten free options, bespoke finisher medals, toilets and changing facilities, and parking at the race headquarters.
