Peterhead 3K & Junior Mile July

Peterhead 3K and Junior Mile is a six race road running series organised by Peterhead Athletics Club and held at The Lido in Peterhead. Taking place from April to September, each event features a 3K race alongside Junior Mile races for Under 16 and Under 12 runners, welcoming competitors of all ages and abilities.

Run under Scottish Athletics licence, the series rewards consistency across the season, with runners keeping the same race number for each event and their fastest three results counting towards the overall standings. Prizes are awarded across a range of categories at the end of the series, encouraging runners to return throughout the summer.

Held on one Saturday each month, Peterhead 3K and Junior Mile offers regular opportunities to race in a friendly club atmosphere. The short distances make the series suitable for experienced runners chasing faster times, newcomers building confidence and junior athletes developing their racing experience.
