Peterborough 5K Grand Prix Race 3

The Peterborough GP3 is the third event in the Peterborough Grand Prix Summer Race Series, a five race programme of summer evening competition for senior and junior runners. Hosted at Werrington Leisure Centre, the event features a 5K race for seniors and a 3K race for junior runners, welcoming participants of all abilities.

The series is held on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer, with points awarded on overall finishing positions and competitors' best three results counting towards the final standings. Both races provide an opportunity to compete for individual race honours while building points towards the overall Peterborough Grand Prix Series.

The event features chip timing, on the night prizes for leading finishers and overall series awards across senior, junior and age group categories. Combining friendly club organisation, competitive racing and a well established series format, Peterborough GP3 is a popular fixture in the local summer running calendar.
