The Peak District Ultra Challenge takes place in the Peak District National Park, with Bakewell Basecamp at the heart of the event weekend. Runners can choose from 10 Mile, 25K, 50K, 75K and 100K routes, making it an accessible endurance challenge for first time participants as well as experienced ultra runners. Walkers and joggers are also welcome across the different distances.
The routes explore some of the Peak District's most iconic landscapes on a mixture of trails, tracks and country paths. The 100K route follows a demanding figure of eight course through Derbyshire, while the shorter distances also visit landmarks including Chatsworth House, combining challenging terrain with spectacular views across the National Park.
The event is fully supported with regular rest stops, food and drink, medical support and fully signed routes. Bakewell Basecamp provides camping, event facilities and a lively finish area, creating a welcoming atmosphere for participants and spectators throughout one of the UK's best known endurance challenge weekends.
