Othnesbery's Revenge is a trail half marathon starting and finishing at Newton under Roseberry Car Park in the North York Moors National Park. The approximately 13.1 mile route follows forest tracks, heather covered moorland and upland trails, tackling multiple ascents of Roseberry Topping before a final climb to Odin's Seat.
Organised by SilverBackTrails under Association of Running Clubs rules, the event includes marshals, route flags, a GPX file, a checkpoint with refreshments, bespoke finisher's medal and certificate. Mandatory safety kit is required and the event has a five hour cut off, with registration taking place at the car park below Roseberry Topping.
Othnesbery's Revenge delivers a demanding but rewarding trail running challenge across one of the North York Moors' most recognisable landscapes, combining technical terrain, panoramic views and a memorable route inspired by local Viking history.
