Organised by Oswestry Olympians, the Chirk Castle Summer Race is a team relay event held in the grounds of Chirk Castle. Each team consists of three runners, with each runner completing one lap of the approximately 2 mile multi-terrain course.
Teams can be made up of three men, three women, mixed combinations of two men and one woman or two women and one man, with a junior team category available for runners aged 14–17. The event offers a relaxed but competitive summer evening atmosphere, with prizes awarded across men's, women's, mixed and junior categories.
The race takes place within the National Trust grounds around Chirk Castle, providing runners with a unique setting and an enjoyable off-road relay challenge.
