The June Forest Five is the opening race of the Forest Five Series, a long established summer series organised by Orion Harriers in Epping Forest. The 5 mile course follows a mix of forest trails, tracks and paths, providing a varied route through one of London's largest woodland areas.
First held in 2009, the series has become a popular fixture in the summer racing calendar. While runners can compete across all three races for the overall series standings, the June event stands on its own as an enjoyable and challenging mixed terrain race in a distinctive forest setting.
