The Oliver Curd Charity Fun Run & Walk is an approximately 5 Mile point to point trail event organised by 1066 Trail Races in support of the Oliver Curd Trust. Starting at Crowhurst Park and finishing at Bulverhythe Recreation Ground, the event raises funds to provide holiday accommodation for families affected by childhood cancer and other life threatening conditions.
The predominantly downhill trail route passes through the Sussex countryside on a mixture of off road terrain, offering an enjoyable point to point challenge with scenic rural surroundings. As the distance is approximate and the course crosses farmland, runners should expect natural trail conditions and the possibility of livestock along the route.
All entry fees are donated directly to the Oliver Curd Trust, with race costs covered separately by 1066 Trail Races. Combining a welcoming atmosphere, post race refreshments and a meaningful charitable purpose, the Oliver Curd Charity Fun Run & Walk is a popular summer fundraising event in East Sussex.
