Fallout Oblivion MAXX is Nuclear Races' endurance obstacle challenge, taking competitors across rugged farmland, woodland, lakes and muddy terrain at its permanent course near Brentwood. The demanding route combines natural features with a huge collection of purpose built obstacles.
Racers complete three laps to cover 24K+, tackling more than 200 obstacles across the full challenge. Each lap features over 70 natural and man made obstacles, with mud, water and demanding terrain adding to the test between obstacles. The repeated lap format builds the challenge as the race progresses, putting endurance, strength and determination to the test over the full distance.
The race is chip timed, with competitors able to tackle the course at their own pace and no penalties for choosing to skip an obstacle. Water obstacles form part of the challenge, while every finisher receives a medal and finisher photo after completing the course.
