The North Downs Run is a long established trail running event organised by Istead and Ifield Harriers, featuring a challenging 30K trail race alongside a 2K Fun Run for younger runners. Starting and finishing in Kent, the event explores the beautiful landscapes of the North Downs, offering a rewarding off road challenge in one of the county's finest countryside settings.

The 30K route follows a varied mix of woodland trails, forest tracks, bridleways and countryside paths through the ancient woodlands and rolling hills of the North Downs. With challenging climbs, flowing descents and panoramic views, the course provides a memorable experience for experienced trail runners seeking a demanding summer event.

With fully marshalled routes, well stocked aid stations, a commemorative finisher's medal and a welcoming community atmosphere, the North Downs Run combines excellent organisation with outstanding natural scenery. The accompanying 2K Fun Run allows younger runners to join the day, making this a popular fixture in the Kent trail running calendar.
