North Berwick Law Race starts and finishes at North Berwick Harbour, climbing 187 metres to the summit of the iconic North Berwick Law before descending back to the harbour. The 5.3K route combines steep climbs, fast descents and spectacular views across East Lothian, making it one of Scotland's classic short hill races.
Organised by NB Runners, registration takes place at the Yacht Club in the harbour from 18:30 before the 19:30 start. All finishers receive a medal, with prizes awarded across overall, age group, local and under 18 categories. Post race refreshments are available at the Yacht Club, with additional rewards including refreshments from local sponsors.
North Berwick Law Race is an excellent choice for runners looking for a classic hill race in East Lothian. Its iconic summit, challenging ascent and spectacular coastal setting provide a rewarding test for experienced hill runners while showcasing one of Scotland's most recognisable landmarks.
