The Niagara Falls Marathon brings runners to one of the world’s most spectacular natural landmarks for a road racing weekend beside the Niagara River. The marathon is joined by half marathon and 10K races, with the courses taking place entirely in Canada and offering memorable views of both the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls.
Runners in the marathon and half marathon start on Fallsview Boulevard before heading towards Niagara Falls and joining the scenic Niagara Parkway. From there, the routes follow the river through the surrounding parkland, with long stretches beside the water and turnaround points allowing runners to experience the scenery in both directions. The dramatic riverside setting provides a memorable backdrop throughout the course.
All three races finish on Stanley Avenue in front of the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, bringing runners back into the heart of Niagara Falls. With dramatic waterfall views, riverside running and a history stretching back to 1974, the event provides a distinctive setting for runners taking on distances from 10K to the full marathon.
