Newcastle Town Moor Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is organised by RunThrough in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. Based at Exhibition Park, the event brings together three main race distances and a junior race, combining the city's open green spaces with views towards its distinctive skyline and St James' Park.
The routes follow wide paths through Exhibition Park and across the neighbouring Town Moor, using a multi lap course with a mixture of tarmac and compact gravel surfaces. The predominantly flat terrain includes gentle undulations, with approximately 45 metres of elevation gain on the 10K route. Runners pass through the lap point several times, with clearly marked splits directing participants along their respective distances.
All main distances are chip timed, with marshals, distance markers and water stations supporting runners around the course. The event village provides baggage storage and refreshments, while finishers receive a themed medal, post race goodies and free official race photography.
