The Newcastle Half Marathon and 10K is organised by RunThrough and takes place from Kingston Park Stadium in Newcastle upon Tyne. The event offers two accurately measured closed road races, starting and finishing at the home of Newcastle Red Bulls Rugby Union Club.
The routes follow quiet country lanes around Newcastle Airport and Dinnington on fully closed roads. A mixture of flat and gently undulating sections provides an enjoyable challenge, with both distances returning to Kingston Park Stadium for the finish after taking in the surrounding countryside.
Professional chip timing, accurately marked kilometre points, marshals, free race photography and post race refreshments help deliver a well organised race day. All finishers receive a themed medal, creating a welcoming atmosphere at one of the North East's premier summer road running events.
