New Forest Stinger is a scenic 10 mile race organised by Totton Running Club, taking runners through an attractive section of the New Forest in Hampshire.
Based at Ocknell Campsite near Fritham, the undulating course follows forest trails and tracks through woodland and open countryside. The route uses approved paths in accordance with Forestry England requirements, giving runners access to an area of the forest rarely used for organised racing. The combination of natural surfaces and changing autumn conditions provides a varied challenge over the 10 mile distance.
The race is held under UK Athletics rules with a Trail Running Association permit. Water stations and medical support are provided, with free parking and facilities at Race HQ. Finishers receive a medal and goody bag, while trophies are awarded to leading runners and across age categories.
