The 5.6 mile (9K) Neilston Padrace route includes a little bit of everything: road, path, trail, and of course mud.

The Padrace is part of Neilston Show, the annual celebration of all things agricultural on the first Saturday in May. Due to popular demand, we're keeping the longer route that was used for last year's anniversary special. The race leaves the Show field and circles and climbs the iconic Neilston Pad. This is primarily a trail race featuring a short sharp climb, with a linking section on public roads.
Runners of all ability are welcome, but you may be asked to skip the summit section if you're well behind the rest of the field. The planned route may be changed if there is storm damage. Entry to Neilston Show is included so why not make a day of it and enjoy the show after you cross the finish line?
