Starting and finishing in Forres, teams of up to four runners share the route across the Moray Coastal Trail, Speyside Way and Dava Way, taking in some of Scotland's most varied and spectacular landscapes.
The relay is divided into 12 legs with handovers at designated checkpoints, allowing teams to decide who runs each section. The route passes sandy beaches, dramatic coastal cliffs, forests, picturesque fishing villages, whisky country and the open moorland of the Dava Way, creating an exciting challenge for runners of all abilities. Every team member completes at least three legs, making it a true shared endurance experience.
With a 24 hour cut off, fully supported checkpoints and a welcoming atmosphere, the Moray Way Relay is ideal for clubs, friends, families and workplace teams looking to experience a 100 mile adventure together. Combining teamwork, outstanding scenery and superb organisation, it offers one of Scotland's most memorable relay events.
