The Moray Way 100 is a spectacular 100 mile ultra marathon that showcases the very best of Scotland's Moray region on a single continuous loop. Starting and finishing in Forres, the route links three of Scotland's Great Trails, taking runners along the Moray Coastal Trail, through Speyside's famous whisky country and back via the historic Dava Way in one unforgettable endurance challenge.
The course passes sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, forests, riverside trails, picturesque fishing villages and rolling countryside before climbing through the heart of Speyside and returning across the former railway line of the Dava Way. With a 30 hour cut off, fully stocked checkpoints, drop bag support and a largely self sufficient format, the event offers a rewarding test for experienced ultra runners.
Every finisher receives a medal, finisher's neckwear and post race refreshments after completing one of Scotland's finest long distance trail events. Combining outstanding scenery, superb organisation and an incredible sense of achievement, the Moray Way 100 is a true bucket list ultra marathon.
