The Midweek Medal Madness Run takes place on a mixed terrain course beside the River Thames, following a fully signed lap of approximately 7K with around 60% on well made paths and tarmac and the remainder on grass and light trail. Runners can complete recognised distances including 3K, 5K, 7K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, 50K and ultra marathon, or simply run as far as they choose within the seven hour time challenge.
Organised by Saturn Too in partnership with Saturn Running, the event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. The route is fully marked, with an aid station at the end of each lap, while finishers who complete at least 3K receive an event medal.
The Midweek Medal Madness Run gives runners the flexibility to choose a distance that matches their goals, whether completing a single lap, achieving a recognised race distance or building towards an ultra marathon on a scenic riverside course.
