The Mid Kent 5 Miler is a popular 5 mile road race based at Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club in Kent. Organised by Canterbury Harriers, the event follows an accurately measured course through the quiet country lanes surrounding Staplehurst and forms part of the Kent Grand Prix road race series.

Starting and finishing at Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club, the predominantly flat route winds through the picturesque Kent countryside on lightly trafficked roads. A temporary road closure is in place for the opening mile before the course continues on open roads, providing a fast and enjoyable race for runners targeting a personal best as well as those simply looking to enjoy a well organised summer road race.

The event features chip timing, fully marshalled roads, water stations, bespoke finisher's medals and post race refreshments at Race HQ. Combining a welcoming club atmosphere with a fast rural course, the Mid Kent 5 Miler has become a well established fixture in the Kent road running calendar.
