New 2018 Date For Mersey Tunnel 10K

The ever popular Mersey Tunnel is back in 2018 with a great new spring race date (Sunday 15 April). In 2017 the event was staged in October due to restrictions on Tunnel use but now it's back in the early part of the year.

And what a great date it is - just a week before London Marathon, so if you're heading down to the capital and looking for a 10K to keep those legs ticking over then why not take on the tunnel?

The race starts on the Liverpool side of the River Mersey and heads straight into the Kingsway (Wallasey) Tunnel from the off and the first mile is a fast and furious downhill... before what goes down... must go up!

Runners exit the tunnel after just two miles on the Wirral side of the river before following a flat route overlooking the river before a fantastic finish line at New Brighton.

The Mersey Tunnel 10K is a unique opportunity to run through one of Merseyside's most famous landmarks. What other 10K takes you underground for two miles?
