|Date||Saturday 16th November, 2019|
|Location||Blean Woods, Canterbury, Kent|
You asked for Kent and we listened! We are welcoming you back to a brand new Kent event for 2019 with three new routes suitable for both returning Mavericks and those just starting their trail running journey. All routes start from a completely new event location based in the stunning Blean Woods near Canterbury.
RSPB Blean Woods is a designated National Nature Reserve and covers over 500 hectares of woods and heathlands. As you adventure through these trails a mosaic of magical landscapes will unfold beneath your feet and reveal themselves in-front of your eyes. Alongside traditional coppice woodlands and high forests comes the almost mystical glades. These routes showcase an enormous variety of the great British outdoors and the eclectic flora and fauna that make the great outdoors so great. Keep an eye out for; woodpeckers, nightingale, dormice and rare butterflies to name a few.
The Trails around Blean are mostly hard packed, although the long route will take in open farmland which in November could certainly mean MUD! The three routes will have up to three Hydration and Nutrition outposts where we welcome you to take a break, fuel up and get some much needed hydration on board.
We cannot wait to welcome you all back to another stunning event in Kent.
