The Maverick Chilterns Trail Run is part of the Maverick Trail Series and takes place from Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire. Offering 8K, 14K, 24K, Marathon and 50K Ultra distances, the event showcases the varied trails, ancient woodland and rolling landscapes of the Chiltern Hills, with routes suitable for both newcomers and experienced trail runners.
Starting and finishing at Princes Risborough School, the fully marked routes explore beech woodlands, chalk downland, bridleways and sections of the Ridgeway and Chiltern Way. From the accessible 8K route to the demanding 50K Ultra, runners can expect a mixture of flowing trails, technical woodland sections and challenging climbs with far reaching views across the Buckinghamshire countryside.
The event features professional chip timing, fully marked courses, well stocked aid stations on the longer distances, free parking and event photography.
