Organised by Marlow Striders, the Marlow Half Marathon brings runners into the scenic countryside surrounding the Buckinghamshire town of Marlow. Alongside the Half Marathon are the Marlow 7 and The Frankenstein, giving runners a choice of distances across a varied programme of challenging races.
The Half Marathon follows an undulating road course through attractive rural surroundings, while the Marlow 7 provides a shorter option with plenty of character of its own. The Frankenstein adds something different to the programme, taking runners onto a multi terrain route for an approximately 10K challenge.
Known for its demanding courses and friendly club organised atmosphere, the event provides a rewarding test for runners across all three distances. The combination of country roads, hills and local scenery makes the races particularly suited to those who enjoy a more challenging course, with the start and finish in Marlow bringing everyone back together at the heart of the event.
