Man vs Moor is an adventure trail running event in Exmoor National Park, Somerset, offering 5K, 10K and 10 mile races across rugged moorland near Simonsbath. Starting at the Pinkery Centre, runners tackle steep climbs, boggy trails, rocky scrambles and natural obstacles in the remote Chains area of Exmoor.
The 5K Light race packs several signature obstacles into the shortest route, including the Pinkery Pinnacles, Green Mile and Breakneck Combe. The 10K Classic ventures further across the moor, taking runners through technical terrain, challenging climbs and open landscapes near Chains Barrow. The 10 mile Ultimate combines the Classic course with an additional lap of the Light route, meaning runners tackle several obstacles twice.
All three races feature an optional open water swim across Pinkery Pond, with an alternative route for those who prefer to stay out of the water. With marked courses, natural obstacles and demanding off road terrain, Man vs Moor offers a distinctive trail running challenge in the heart of Exmoor National Park.
