The Lymm Festival Trail Races are a community running event held as part of the wider Lymm Festival celebrations. Based at Lymm High School, the event offers a 5 mile trail race alongside a children's fun run, creating an enjoyable day out for runners, families and supporters alike.
The adult race follows an off road route starting and finishing on the school's running track before heading onto footpaths through Helsdale Wood and around Spud Wood. The woodland trails, playing fields and natural surroundings provide a varied and scenic running experience with a mix of terrain throughout the course.
The children's fun run takes place on the school playing fields and helps support local environmental causes. Combining woodland trails, community spirit and family participation, the Lymm Festival Trail Races have become a popular summer fixture in the Cheshire running calendar.
