The Little Dart River Ramble and Run is a 17 Mile trail event organised by Wild Running Ltd, taking place in the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere. Starting near Rackenford and finishing at Chulmleigh, the event follows the Little Dart River through a landscape of ancient woodland, flower meadows, river valleys and farmland, with exclusive access to sections of private land opened specially for the event.
The fully marked route is almost entirely off road, following footpaths, woodland trails, riverside tracks and open countryside. Runners benefit from marshals, multiple feed stations and first aid support along the course, while walkers can also enjoy the route at their own pace. Transport is available from the finish to the start before the event.
Every runner receives a wooden finisher's medal, with post event refreshments available at the finish. Combining exclusive access, outstanding Devon scenery and a unique partnership with the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere, the Little Dart River Ramble and Run offers a distinctive trail running experience through one of England's most important natural landscapes.
