The Linlithgow Charity Santa Dash is a festive 3K running event organised by Linlithgow Athletic Club in West Lothian. Taking place alongside the town's Advent Fayre, the event brings runners and families together for an afternoon of Christmas celebrations while raising money for charity.
The route follows two loops along Linlithgow High Street, which is closed to traffic for the event. Starting and finishing at The Cross, participants run through the historic town centre, with spectators able to cheer them on along the way. Runners are encouraged to dress as Santa or wear other festive outfits, adding to the atmosphere.
The event welcomes participants aged five and over, with children aged five to eleven accompanied by an adult. Proceeds after costs support Baton of Hope and The Donaldson Trust, while awards for the first three male and female finishers take the form of charitable donations. The Santa Dash is part of a wider programme of festive activities in Linlithgow.
