The Lawford 10K is part of the Manningtree Rotary Summer Fun Festival, bringing together runners, joggers and walkers for a community focused fundraising event in Essex. Open to participants of all abilities, the event welcomes those looking to race, take on a personal challenge or simply enjoy an active day out.
Starting and finishing at Lawford Playing Field, the 10K follows a two lap course featuring a mixture of footpaths and quiet country lanes. The predominantly flat to gently undulating route provides an accessible challenge while allowing participants to enjoy the surrounding countryside.
Alongside the main 10K event, a children's fun run takes place within the playing fields as part of the wider festival programme. With chip timing, finisher medals and a family friendly atmosphere, the Lawford 10K combines community spirit, fundraising and accessible multi terrain running.
