Kirkintilloch 10K
This friendly, club-organised 10K is open to runners of all abilities, and is held on a largely flat course along the side of the Forth & Clyde Canal.

The race commences in Northbank Avenue and proceeds to Townhead Bridge joining the Forth and Clyde Canal towpath (north bank) in less than 1km. The route is along the towpath to Cadder Bridge (5k mark), before leaving the towpath to complete a loop on pavements to return to the canal towpath at Hungryside Bridge (7k). The finish is on the towpath behind St Ninian's High School.
There is a 2k junior race being held at 6.30pm on the same evening with registration at Lairdsland Primary school and the run being held on a flat, marshalled course. Entry on the night.
