Kilmaurs Gala 5K Fun Run

Kilmaurs Gala 5K Fun Run starts and finishes on the running track at Morton Park in Kilmaurs. The accurately measured road course begins with approximately 1.5K within the park before heading onto Kilmarnock Road and the surrounding Ayrshire countryside. After reaching the highest point at around 3.5K, the route descends back to the track for the finish, making it suitable for both newcomers and runners chasing fast times.

Held as part of the annual Kilmaurs Gala, the event is run under UK Athletics Rules and is licensed by Scottish Athletics with electronic chip timing for all competitors. Every finisher receives a medal, with prizes awarded across open, junior, youth, veteran and team categories alongside spot prizes. Children's races take place on the running track before the main 5K, with every participant receiving a medal. Facilities include parking, toilets, limited changing, secure baggage storage, water stations and post race refreshments.
