Kilmacolm Running Festival Returns To Autumn Date
Popular Inverclyde running festival confirms September date with half marathon headline event…
The Kilmacolm Running Festival returns to Kilmacolm, Inverclyde on Sunday 13 September 2026, featuring a half marathon, 10K and 3K races starting and finishing at Birkmyre Park Fitness Gym.
Despite previous reports of a new spring date, the event will continue in its regular autumn slot, maintaining its established place in the Scottish running calendar.
The half marathon remains the headline event, starting at 10.00am and following a scenic route through Kilmacolm village and the surrounding countryside, offering a challenging but rewarding course for experienced runners.
Alongside the main race, the 10K and 3K events provide additional options for runners of different abilities, while the wider festival format continues to attract strong participation from across Inverclyde and beyond.
Entries are now open, with organisers recommending early sign up ahead of the August closing date as the event continues to grow in popularity.
