The Keynsham Dandy is a 12.5 mile trail race through the countryside surrounding Keynsham, following a varied route across rolling farmland, woodland and riverside trails. The course incorporates the Compton Dando route and features two stream crossings that add to the character of the event.
Runners can expect an engaging rural course with plenty of variety underfoot as the route moves between fields, wooded sections, river paths and short stretches of road. The rolling terrain provides a rewarding trail challenge, with water stations positioned along the course and at the finish.
Starting in Keynsham, the race has a friendly club atmosphere and welcomes both solo runners and canicross entrants. Every finisher receives a medal, making the Keynsham Dandy a distinctive autumn trail race through the Somerset countryside.
