The Floors Castle, Kelso 10K takes place within the grounds of Floors Castle near Kelso in the Scottish Borders. Held during Kelso Civic Week, the event offers a distinctive mixed terrain 10K through one of Scotland's finest historic country estates.
The course follows a mixture of estate roads and trails, with sections of uneven ground, loose stones and parkland tracks creating a varied running experience. Runners enjoy the scenic surroundings of the Floors Castle estate before returning to the castle grounds for the finish.
Changing facilities, baggage storage, marshals and a water station help provide a well organised race day. All finishers receive a medal and goody bag, with refreshments available in the castle courtyard and a welcoming atmosphere adding to this popular Scottish Borders event.
