The Jurassic Express Trail Run starts on Swanage seafront and follows a scenic coastal route along the Jurassic Coast, offering a choice of 21K, 16.5K, or 10.5K distances.
The course takes in iconic landmarks including Old Harry Rocks, Studland, and Corfe Castle, with a mix of firm chalk paths and sandy trails providing varied but runnable terrain. Runners finish beneath the ruins of Corfe Castle after a challenging and scenic route.
A unique highlight of the event is the return journey on a vintage train from Corfe Castle back to Swanage, adding a memorable finish to the day.
The race is chip timed and fully supported with marshals, first aid, and on-course refreshments. All finishers receive a medal, along with a drink, goodies, and a personalised certificate.
