The JCB Lakeside 5 is a 5 Mile road race held at the iconic JCB World Headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire. First staged in 1983, the event also includes a 2 Mile Fun Run, welcoming runners of all ages and abilities for an established summer evening of racing.
The 5 Mile course consists of two laps on a mixture of roads and surfaced paths around the JCB site. The undulating route is chip timed, fully marshalled and includes sections of road closed to traffic, providing a safe and enjoyable racing experience for competitors.
The event offers on site parking, changing facilities, toilets, first aid support and water stations, with bottled water provided at the finish. All profits from the event are donated to JCB's NSPCC Appeal, combining competitive running with fundraising for children and young people across Staffordshire.
