Organised by the Howden Town Run team, this community event takes place in the centre of Howden, East Yorkshire, with proceeds supporting local charities. The event offers a choice of a 10K road race, 5K road race and a 1K fun run for younger runners.
The 5K and 10K routes take runners through the historic town, around the Howden Marsh nature reserve and past the impressive Howden Minster. The courses are designed to be accessible for runners of all abilities while still providing a competitive challenge, with chip timing and race results provided.
The event has a strong community atmosphere, with local support, family-friendly facilities and a welcoming summer evening race environment. Number collection takes place from the Shire Hall in Market Place before the races.
