The Hope Trail Festival is a timed trail running festival organised by GB Ultras and held at Newnham Park near Plymouth. Offering 12, 24 and 36 hour endurance events for solo runners, pairs and teams, together with a children's trail race, the festival combines long distance trail running with a welcoming community atmosphere.
The event is based on a well marked 5 mile trail loop through the private grounds of Newnham Park. The undulating course winds through woodland, open fields and estate trails, allowing runners to complete as many laps as possible within their chosen time limit. Solo runners reaching 100 miles earn the Hope Ultra buckle, while pairs and teams can also target the 100 mile milestone together.
Free camping for participants, an event village, professional event photography, on course aid stations and a full programme of activities create a genuine trail running festival experience across the weekend. Combining flexible endurance racing, scenic estate trails and outstanding community spirit, the Hope Trail Festival has become one of the UK's best known timed trail running events.
