Holme Moss Fell Race Cancelled

Holme Moss Fell Race is a 28.5K fell race with registration and the finish based at Cartworth Moor Cricket Club near Holmfirth. The demanding route crosses the high moorland of the South Pennines, visiting Holme Moss, Tooleyshaw Moor, Crowden, Bareholme Moss, Laddow Rocks and Black Hill before returning to the finish after 1,285 metres of ascent.

The race follows Fell Runners Association rules and is designed for experienced fell runners, with mandatory safety kit, navigation skills and checkpoint cut off times. Drink stations are provided around the course, while Holme Valley Mountain Rescue delivers safety cover throughout the event. Food and refreshments are available after the race, with prizes awarded across open and veteran categories.
