Harborough Santa Run is coming!
There is still time to get onboard and be part of the red and white action.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a Santa Run and Race Harborough have an absolute cracker for adults, children and dogs too. Two distances to choose from on an attractive route around Welland Park with a medal for every finisher.
The Harborough Santa Run is coming to town on Sunday 11 December and everyone is invited to take part and support the Squires Effect charity. Sponsorship or donations are welcome – see the Race Harborough website for more details.
Event Sponsors Snap Fitness will lead a mass warm up to get our Santas primed and ready. The red army will snap to it at 2pm by the cafe in Welland Park where they’ll continue towards the kids playground and the beginning of the loop – which they complete once for 2K or three times for 5K around the outer reaches of the park. The finish is back at the cafe.
There is an added festive challenge whereby participants can try and beat the Christmas pudding guest runner and in doing so, win £100 for their chosen charity.
Finishers medal, festive treats for the children and fun activities courtesy of The Squires Effect team. And for anyone bringing their dog there is a prize for the best dressed canine!
There are entry options for adults, children, family and virtual and the fee includes a Santa suit.
Sign up for the Santa Run at the Race Harborough website. Don't worry - the organisers won’t be checking if you’ve been naughty or nice!
